• Initial Deposit / Advance: 50% of the total package cost is due immediately at the time of booking confirmation to block operational slots, accommodations, and vendor logistics.

• Mid-Term Installment: 30% of the total package cost is due 30 days prior to the departure date (or immediately for bookings made within 30 days of travel).

• Final Balance: The remaining 20% balance is due strictly 15 days prior to the departure date to release final travel vouchers, tickets, and on-ground contact details.

Cancellation Policy & Refund Alignment

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or official business communication channels by the primary booker. Refunds are processed securely back to the original mode of payment within 7–10 business days, minus any non-refundable third-party vendor (hotel, airline, or permit) deposits. Because our payment structure is milestone-based, refund eligibility is directly tied to the payments made up to the date of cancellation:

Cancellation Tiers (Tied to Payment Milestones)

• Tier 1 (Early Cancellation — Prior to 30 Days): If a cancellation is made 30 days or more before departure (typically after the initial 50% deposit has been paid), you will forfeit a standard processing fee of 10% of the total package cost. The remaining balance from your deposited amount will be refunded or held as a 1-year travel credit.

• Tier 2 (Moderate Cancellation — 15 to 29 Days): If a cancellation is made between 15 and 29 days before departure (by which point the 50% deposit and 30% mid-term installment—totaling 80%—have been paid), you will forfeit 50% of the total package cost. Any excess amount paid beyond that 50% will be refunded.

• Tier 3 (Last-Minute Cancellation — 14 Days or Less): If a cancellation is made 14 days or less prior to departure, or in the event of a no-show (by which point 100% of the package payments have been completed due), the booking is 100% non-refundable, as all logistical space, hotel rooms, and vendor commitments are fully locked and billed.

At The Curated Escapes Travels, all logistical arrangements, luxury accommodations, transport vendors, and local permits are locked in well in advance. Because supplier contracts require strict advance commitments, our refund structure is governed strictly by our milestone payment and cancellation tiers.

• Non-Refundable Component Rule: Regardless of the cancellation timeline, any direct third-party supplier expenses—including non-refundable domestic/international flights, special event permits, premium safari/adventure bookings, and peak-season hotel deposits—are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.

• Processing of Eligible Refunds: Any approved refund amount (calculated strictly after deducting applicable cancellation penalties, processing fees, and non-refundable supplier costs) will be processed back strictly to the original mode of payment.

• Timeline for Settlement: Eligible refunds are processed within 14 to 21 business days from the official date of written cancellation confirmation.

• Force Majeure & Unforeseen Disruptions: In the event of trip interruptions, delays, or cancellations caused by force majeure events (such as extreme weather, natural disasters, political strikes, government lockdowns, or airline groundings), The Curated Escapes Travels is not liable to issue cash refunds. Instead, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to secure credit shells or reschedule the itinerary for future travel dates, subject to vendor approvals.
